THE first-ever Women In Sports Walk The Talk day attracted more than 200 participants in Namaka, Nadi yesterday.
Organised by the Women In Sports Western branch the department the event advocated healthy living.
Women In Sports Western branch media liaison officer Otilly Rabuku said after the official opening they had Zumba exercises before the walk started.
She said volleyball matches were played.
"The Women In Sports West branch together with FASANOC had the privilege to launch their first activity through the Walk The Talk in Nadi in commemoration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month known as Pinktober." Rabuku said.
"With the support of Air Terminal Services the new association was boosted through the sponsorship of 200 T-shirts. The walk was not only for women but men and children as well."
