POLICE have yet to charge parents who use play centres in urban areas to keep their children while they went pub-crawling and clubbing.
Chief operations officer ACP Rusiate Tudravu said on Friday they were aware of some parents doing this.
"We have already started investigations into the matter and our officers are monitoring the situation," he said.
"So far, no parent or parents have been charged. Parents need to play their role and look after their children as the play centres are places where children should not be kept unsupervised at night."
ACP Tudravu said they were seriously looking into the matter.
"At this stage, officers are still investigating and we will aggressively monitor the situation to ensure children are not left unattended as a result of this activity."
