CLASS Three students of Namosi Catholic Primary School paid a visit to the Fiji Times newsroom yesterday.
The students, accompanied by their teachers and parents, also toured other sections of the company, including the factory, to see first-hand the work behind putting out a newspaper.
Class teacher Dan Kalucava said the school wanted to expose its students to what they had learnt but had not seen.
"This is the first time for most of them to visit Suva," he said.
Twin sisters Maria Vakaseleasi and Natina Venina delivered a word of thanks.
"Thank you very much for opening our eyes and mind to the world of newspapers," they said in unison.
"All we have seen today will be our story in the years to come."
The group also visited the Republic of Fiji Military Forces and Fiji Broadcasting Corporation then headed home.
