SUVA'S Dolphin Swimming Club won the overall title at the Connect Fiji Swimming Short Course Age Group National Championships over the weekend.
The three-day competition at the Damodar Aquatic Centre in Suva ended on Saturday.
The Dolphin Swimming Club won 106 gold, 69 silver and 40 bronze medals to finish on top.
Barracudas Swim Club from Nadi managed to get second place with 98 gold, 75 silver and 55 bronze medals while the Tritons Swimming Club from Suva came in third with 58 gold, 41 silver and 30 bronze medals.
The annual event featured 208 swimmers with 1750 entries from seven local swimming clubs from across the country and one international swim club, Mt Wellington from Auckland, New Zealand.
One hundred and forty two (142) swimming records were broken during the competition — the largest ever number of swimming records broken in a Fiji championship.
