THE host of the 2013 Sukuna Bowl competition, the Fiji Police Force, yesterday finalised the sponsorship with BSP Life.
The insurance company is giving $35,000 cash plus the full attire of the Police and Army teams that will battle in the rugby competition.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Rusiate Tudravu thanked BSP Life for "fulfilling the dreams of all police officers" in hosting the 2013 Sukuna Bowl.
"This is an event that is dear to our heart, the policemen and military officers alike," he said.
"We extend our appreciation to BSP Life for coming to our assistance to be the main sponsors.
"With the support of our sponsors, we will try and host to the expectation of the two commanders of the forces and enjoyable for families of both military and police."
BSP Life general manager marketing and distribution Michael Nacola said they were delighted to partner with the organisers of Sukuna Bowl for the second consecutive year.
"BSP Life is a brand about supporting families and community and obviously our two main forces, they look after us and protect our community," he said.
"Sukuna Bowl is a highly anticipated event and hopefully it doesn't only bring the police and army together but the rest of Fiji as well."
The Sukuna Bowl competition will be held on December 6 at the ANZ Stadium.
