A LAUTOKA businessman has been left frustrated over the constant break-ins at his internet cafe over the past few months.
Rarosi Internet Cafe owner Rajneel Singh said he had lost about $50,000 worth of computers and technical equipment from those daring robbery incidents.
Mr Singh said the latest incident occurred in the early hours of last Sunday where thieves broke into the shop using crowbars.
"I have a total of 28 PCs and when we came to the shop the next morning, we found only four left," he said.
"They took everything from the monitors to the CPUs and those things are heavy so I'm guessing there was a group. They also stole Play Station equipment and a large 29-inch television screen."
He said in total, he lost about $30,000 in the robbery.
"I've lodged my complaint with police and I do hope that they catch the thieves behind this robbery."
The 29-year-old businessman said the first robbery happened in February this year where criminals made off with similar items from his café.
"In the first one, I also had 28 PCs, the thieves took 20 computers."
West police spokeswoman Naina Ragigia confirmed they had received a statement from Mr Singh.
She said police had begun their investigations.
