MORE than 800 Christian Mission Fellowship church members from the three provinces of Cakaudrove, Bua and Macuata gathered at Subrail Park for their Tabernacle Worship church service.
Church president Reverend Suliasi Kurulo encouraged church members that it was time to feel the power of God's presence.
Mr Kurulo said in its sixth service the Tabernacle Worship had never been performed in public stating that Labasa was the first place where they have held the service public.
"Taken from the Israelites exodus from Egypt to Cannan the worship series focused on the tabernacle that was given to Moses to build," Mr Kurulo said.
"The master-plan of the first tabernacle was also the spot where God would draw towards the people of Israel and talk to his people.
"In this day and age God will only draw nearer and speak to us if we prepare in our hearts a tabernacle that is worthy of his presence."
