THE Digicel Fiji 7s side will get a bonus payment for qualifying in the cup quarter-finals of the Gold Coast 7s in Australia.
Digicel Fiji chief executive officer Maurice McCarthy said the team was entitled to a bonus payment which was performance based and applied when the team reaches the cup quarterfinals.
The Ben Ryan-coached Fiji 7s side won its opening two matches against Canada 20-10 and Portugal 38-0 to book its place in the quarters.
McCarthy said the bonus would be paid depending on how the team performed.
"I wish the Digicel Fiji 7s team all the best in Gold Coast and look forward to an exciting 7s weekend," he said.
"I'm confident the side under new coach, Ben Ryan and new skipper and Digicel Fiji brand ambassador, Osea Kolinisau will perform well this weekend as they aim to win their third straight Gold Coast title."
