OLAF Allen Jr won the Fiji Premium Fiji Golf Club Open Championship at the Vatuwaqa gold course yesterday.
The top amateur golfer was crowned the overall gross winner on 221 in the three-day tournament.
"It was pretty tough in the beginning (yesterday) and Barron (Hussein) put up a good fight but at the end it turned out okay for me," Allen Jr said.
Mosese Naisara scored 207 to claim the overall nett prize.
Abid Hussein managed the overall gross runner-up prize on 229 while Nigel Goundan was the second runner up on 233.
Abdul Hakim took home the overall nett runner-up prize on 212 while youngster Barron Hussein managed the second runner-up prize on 218.
In the ladies grade, Gye Oh scooped the top prize after collecting 260 to claim the overall gross prize.
Dawi Jee was the overall nett winner on 206.
Tomasi Tuivuci was the winner in the professional division (54 holes competition) after hitting 214.
One hundred and thirty golfers took part in the tournament which the Pacific Beverages has been sponsoring for the past 20 years.
