A NEW wave swept the second stage of the BOC Tour of Fiji yesterday.
Australian Peter Huchings edged day one leader Mapa Bolea to win the second stage from Korovuto to the Uprising Beach Resort in Pacific Harbour.
The Serua hills, sunny condition and strong headwind added spice to the competition as Huchings avenged his day one loss to Bolea by a second.
He stopped the clock at two hours, 28 minutes and 16seconds while Bolea was second with 2:28:17.
Caleb Koroi was third with 2:30:28, Christian Carling who finished third on day one dropped to fourth place.
