HIDEAWAY Hurricanes demolished MH Red Rock Premium to win the Nakelo 7s tournament and walk away $3000 richer yesterday.
Led by former national sevens rep Sakiusa Gavidi, Hideaway beat Red Rock 22-12 in the final at Nakelo District School grounds.
Gavidi combined well with Leveni Tani, the younger brother of Vodafone Fiji Bati reps Alipate and Kaliova, to lead 15-7 at the break.
Hideaway edged a determined Vunimono team 19-12 in the semi-finals while Red Rock beat Tabadamu by the same score.
The Levani Botia-led Wardens team settled for the plate following a 19-7 win over Bau.
Wardens lost 19-22 to Red Rock in the cup quarter-finals before bouncing back to win its plate semi-final against MH Red Rock Branch.
Mataravua won the bowl final, edging Nasogovau 10-0.
Mataravua defeated Duavata Blues in the semi-final while Nasogovau beat Uluinakau Babas.
