National sevens manager Isei Rayawa said spiritual preparations was also important as they began the final training run ahead of the Gold Coast Sevens tournament this weekend.
Rayawa said one of the first task he worked on when the team arrived at the team hotel in Gold Coast was to look for a place to have the team's church services.
"It is very important to keep the boys spiritually motivated because it will surely help them when they are on the field," Rayawa said.
"We have our daily services every day and I believe this is one area that will boost the players' performance on the field."
Rayawa has also been giving encouragement to the players on the importance of the task which is ahead of them.
"We need to keep talking to the players and keep them focused on the job we're here to do.
"We're here on a mission and its important that we are on the right track to achieving it," Rayawa said.
The team only had one training session yesterday as they were invited to a program organised by the Fijian community in the Gold Coast last night.
Rayawa said the team would also attend a church service with the local Fijian community.
