THE fifth anniversary of one of Fiji's most active NGOs was celebrated in the Sugar City as members of Soroptimist International launched a magazine at Jasper Williams High School yesterday.
Organisation president Zareena Bi said the Lautoka club was the youngest of the seven clubs around the country but had done just as much for the community as their sister branches.
"The magazine launch was significant because it's a way of archiving all that we have done over the years," she said.
"By doing this, we hope we can show the community what we do and get more donors and sponsors."
Chief guest and USP campus director for Lautoka Dr Pramila Devi said the anniversary signified establishment and growth.
