ORGANISERS of the Never Back Down volleyball tournament will keep registrations open until this afternoon.
The tournament will be held tomorrow at the Ed's Court in Raiwaqa to celebrate Fiji Day.
Games co-ordinator Salome Waqailiti said they were keeping the door open for participating clubs to submit names of their trained officials who may wish to assist on the day
"We would like the games to be all inclusive with each club having an opportunity to contributing to the success of the games," she said.
Some notable teams that have registered so far are Red Beard, Police, Nakasi CMF Youth, All Weather and Toba.
"We are still receiving phone calls and the door is open for more teams to join.
"We must stress that payment of registration actually confirms teams' participation on the day."
Waqailiti added that co-ordinating a sports association in Raiwaqa is difficult without incentives or sponsorship.
"We are currently looking for sponsors who share in our vision to empower youths with the idea of remaining resilient and persevering.
"We hope like-minded organisations will come forward and assist us for this new season."
The first prizemoney at the tournament is $1000 and $500 will be distributed in other prizes.
