THE Ba Town Council has given 26 mini-van operators one month to sort out their differences or face fronting up to police and LTA officials.
Council special administrator Praveen Bala said the operators were divided on several issues, and had created problems among themselves.
"One of the main issues they are facing is regarding loading boys, the people who help the mini-van drivers get passengers," Mr Bala said.
"On that, we had reached an understanding with the Fiji Corrections Service, under the Yellow Ribbon Project, where we agreed to allow former inmates to be employed as loading boys.
"The operators have been given until this Friday to come up with the list of names of former inmates who have been given the job to be loading boys."
He said the other issue was the areas where transport providers would operate from, adding they had been told to arrive at an amicable solution.
