IT was the Pacific at its best as 14 top designers opened the Fiji Fashion Week at Suva's Vodafone Arena last night.
The Echoes of the Pacific show did not disappoint as the much anticipated annual event got underway. Tribal and Pacific prints on well thought of designs and cuts drew great responses from the sellout crowd.
FFW Ltd managing director Ellen Whippy-Knight said the opening night raised the bar for the remaining two shows tonight and tomorrow.
"If you think this was extravagant than you're in for not one, but two treats the next two nights.
"The designers have taken FFW and designing in the Pacific to a whole new level."
Tonight emerging designers will showcase their collection on the runway.
