ACTING Commissioner Northern Alipate Bolalevu said contractors of the Seaqaqa Dreketi electrification project were working round-the-clock to complete the project.
Mr Bolalevu said the project was expected to be commissioned this month.
"The FEA workers and contractors hired for the project are working hard to complete the project on time," he said.
"They are even working weekends especially on Sundays to finish the job.
"Government has already given its share of the project cost and we would like to see the project finished on time."
Mr Bolalevu said farms and villages between Seaqaqa and Nasarawaqa would benefit from the project.
"The development is part of government's Look North Policy which is aimed at developing the North and attracting investors," he said.
"With developments happening between the corridor of Dreketi and Nabouwalu, such electrification projects will boost business in the area."
The project cost is $14million which is shared between FEA and government.
