THE Southern Police Netball side has set its sights on reclaiming the Inter-Formation Police Netball Tournament title.
The side held on to the title for many years and then lost it to the Northern team last year.
Yesterday, they began their training for the competition which would be held in two weeks.
Team manager Railala Bese said they would be ready in time for the competition.
"We have selected a good side and we are preparing as best as we can for the challenge," she said.
She said the girls knew the task ahead of them and they were leaving no stone unturned in their preparation.
"We know we will be the target because we will be the strongest side in the competition.
"We have some district reps in our side but we are not taking that for granted.
"We will have to work hard if we want to win back the title and the girls know it."
Bese said they were expecting a strong challenge from the Northern outfit.
"They are the defending champions and they will be aiming to retain the title but we want to win that title and bring it back to Suva with us."
She said their side would also compete in the Sukuna Bowl competition in December.
