FOREIGN players holding valid work permits prior to August 17, 2013 will be allowed to participate in the Courts Inter-District Championship next week.
This rules out the possibility for the districts to sign up new foreign players to boost their IDC campaign.
The IDC will be the last tournament in which foreign players will be allowed to participate.
The Fiji Football Association decided to ban foreign players from participating at the district level in future tournaments after a council meeting in August.
Even foreign students studying in the country with student visas will not be able to participate in the tournaments.
Lautoka signed up Jean Kaltack and Niko Jack from Vanuatu and Nelson Odaiji from Nigeria this season.
The trio's work permits are still valid.
Odaiji is in the country while Kaltack and Jack returned to Vanuatu after the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants in August.
Kaltack and Jack are expected to join the Design Engineering Blues squad today.
The IDC kicks off on October 9 at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
Games will be played over 60 minutes.
