Josaia Rokomarawa's budding coaching career keeps getting brighter each day.
This afternoon, while guiding the Fiji under-18 team against the Australian Schoolboys at the Knox Grammar School in NSW, the Ratu Navula College schoolteacher is hoping to maintain his winning record as a coach.
Last week against the New Zealand Schoolboys, he completed an impressive 32 wins from 32 games as a coach — 29 with Ratu Navula's Deans campaign, led the Fiji President's XV to a historic 18-9 victory over Australia last year and two from two during this tour.
He has retained his starting 15 that edged New Zealand last week.
Skipper Mesulame Dolokoto was part of Rokomarawa's side which beat Australia last year.
Rokomarawa has worked tirelessly in trying to fix Fiji's defensive woes which worked well against New Zealand.
However, he is not resting his laurels on the win as he prepares his boys for another huge challenge.
Team manager Lionel Danford said defence would be the key against Australia.
"We want to disrupt their structured play, and spoil their game plan," Danford said.
"Australia will come out strongly at us having known we won against New Zealand, so they know we are a strong team.
"We will have a strong defence platform as we did for New Zealand.
"Defence is the key against Australia."
Danford said Australians would not allow our team to settle down in the game.
"They will come out strongly at us, they know we beat them last year and they will really be a strong team.
"Australia will play a strong game upfront, they will play a close game and they will not want to spread the ball because of the speed of the Fijian boys."
Danford added team spirits are high for the 4.30pm (Fiji time) kick-off.
