DTL Malolo Football One reached the semi-final of the ATMS Nadi Football Association local league super premier competition after beating Nalovo Sangam 1-0 in the quarter-final on Sunday.
The Malolo One team had the services of Ilimotama Jese, Ame Votoniu, Ratu Bainivalu and Temisi Tuwai.
The father and son combination of Watisoni Voli and Rusiate Matarerega featured for Nalovo Sangam.
Foodhall Gandhi Lionz One defeated Solovi Football 2-0. Ronil Chetty and Vijay Pillay scored the goals.
Namaka Football One defeated DCA Sports 5-2 via a penalty shootout.
Both teams were locked 1-1 at full-time.
Network Builders Blues beat Best Promotions Nadi Andhra 4-3.
Meanwhile Fiji Football Referees Association president Mahen Singh is happy with the turnout during the examinations for the match officials held in the West, South and North on Saturday.
He said for the first time seven females attended in Suva.
"We are now looking forward for them to attend the trials for the Courts Inter District Competition that will be held on Saturday," Singh said.
"We will hold the examinations regularly. We referee day in, day out, and think that we know the rules but the finer points need to looked at.
"The referees need to be going through the rules books regularly."
