RAYMOND Singh took out the Pratap Investment Foodhall Supermarket-sponsored 12-hole stroke event at the Lautoka Golf Club on Saturday.
The businessman was in fine form winning the overall gross title with a score of 38.
He also claimed one of the nearest to the pin prizes.
Abdul Jalal won the overall nett. Jalal scored 34.
Suren Pillay won the A grade nett. Pillay scored 37. Manwell Ajay was second with 38 nett while Vinod Chand finished third with 39 nett.
Gaffar Ali won the B grade nett with a score of 38. Vijay Ram was second with 39 nett. Jeffery John was third with 40 nett.
Captain Bill Gardiner won the C grade nett. He scored 40. Salesh Kumar was second with 41 nett. Salesh Rao was third with 42 nett.
Mohammed Salim won the beginners category. Salim scored 42 nett. Sajid Raza finished as the runner-up with 43 nett.
Chand won the other nearest to the pin prize while Pillay hit the longest drive.
Pillay who is the Lautoka Golf Club vice-captain said the new players who had joined recently were doing well.
He said they hoped to stage bigger events with the reconstruction of the clubhouse soon.
The premises suffered extensive damage during Tropical Cyclone Evan last December.
