THE Nasinu kaji rugby under-13 team ended its rugby campaign with an awards ceremony in Kinoya yesterday.
After winning the plate final against Nadroga 3-0 last month, the team management hosted the players to lunch.
Team manager David Tuicolo said the players enjoyed their time together after a hectic preparation for the Fiji primary school kaji rugby competition that was held at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
"We organised a small awards ceremony just to thank the players for their contribution and dedication throughout this kaji rugby season," he said.
Sakiusa Vakadewatabua was named the best disciplined player, Joseva Baleloa scooped the most improved player and Paula Toka walked away with the best player award.
Tuicolo said the other players were given certificates to appreciate their participation.
"It was a good gathering because some of these players will be joining secondary school level next year.
"We identified some players who walked away with awards while the other players received their certificates of participation."
Tuicolo wished all the outgoing players a good future and hopes the remaining players would do Nasinu proud at next year's competition.
