FORMER national sevens rep Jope Tuikabe says Fiji can expect a different game pattern at the HSBC Sevens World Series with the appointment of a new coach.
Reacting to the announcement of Ben Ryan as Fiji's sevens head coach for the next three years, Tuikabe said the Englishman would breathe a new style of play to Fiji's game.
Tuikape, who was part of the 1997 Melrose Cup winning team, welcomed Ryan's appointment.
"I think Ben Ryan's appointment will bring new techniques for Fiji," he said.
"We might see a different style to the way we play sevens, we might see a little bit of how England plays during the series."
Ryan was the successful candidate from the four short-listed applicants, Etuate Waqa, Iliesa Tanivula and New Zealand-based Waisiki Masirewa.
