THE Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation's new president, Howard Politini, has revealed plans for the country's biggest private sector organisation to provide broader service and assistance to the business community.
"During my two-year term at office, I want to see the FCEF providing strong leadership and innovation through inclusion," Mr Politini said.
"I want to reach out to small and medium enterprises and assist them and also create awareness of government rules and regulations that affect the business community."
The federation elected Mr Politini along with a new board at its AGM held after the top executives conference, at the International Fiji Golf Resort and Spa, Natadola, last week.
The newly-elected board members include Eseta Nadakuitavuki from Westpac, Michael Wong from the Fiji Hotels and Tourism Association, Dixon Seeto from the Hexagon Group, Fernando Lobendhan from Williams and Gosling, Asaeli Tokalau from the Suva City Council, Reverend Poate Mata, Himen Chandra from Comfort Home Furnishing, Kalpesh Solanki from Ranjit Garments, Paul Dunk from Marsh and Eremasi Tamanisau from the Fiji Performing Rights Association.
