ANASA Seruvatu and Abid Hussain are the champions of the Fiji Premium Pro-Am golf tournament at the Denarau golf course yesterday.
Seruvatu clinched the professional division after carding an impressive two under par 70 on day two for a tally of 151. He shot one under par 71 to take an early lead on day one.
Hussein maintained his lead from the opening day to win the amateur division, edging national rep Olaf Allen Jr and Faiaz Ali who settled for second and third positions respectively.
Tomasi Tuivuna performed well on the second day to finish behind Seruvatu, pushing Ravin Lal, who was second heading into the final day, to third place.
Fiji Golf Club member Veramu Rokotavaga, who also took part at the event, said the 142 golfers that participated enjoyed the fine weather in Nadi.
"Anasa and Abid won the tournament today (yesterday)," Rokotavaga said.
"It was a good battle on the second day. Anasa played well and continued his performance from the opening day to walk away with the title."
He thanked the sponsors Paradise Beverages for backing the two-day event.
"Everyone enjoyed the tournament, the weather was good from the opening day," Rokotavaga added.
