Update: 1:16PM THE Fiji Commerce Commission has confirmed a recent increase in the price of butter and milk.
Commissions CEO Bobby Maharaj said prices were only regulated at retail levels across the country.
For Fiji Dairy products, the prices are regulated at retail level only. The retail mark-up includes butter by 5 per cent, liquid milk (white packet) by 8 per cent, liquid milk (blue packet) by 10 per cent and powdered by 7 per cent, he said.
Mr Maharaj said this was because of an increase in the supplier price from New Zealand.
