TEAM Kevlar Kat caught the biggest fish during the Pacific Harbour International Game Fishing tournament in Deuba last week.
Kelvar Kat crew members Paddy Almer, Jimmy and Mitch all played their role in catching the more than 70kilograms sailfish.
Tournament organiser Mark Spurling said the catch was the biggest during the three-day tournament at the Pearl Resort South Pacific.
"Team Kevlar Kat undoubtedly had the best catch of the whole tournament despite being one of the smaller boats in the competition," Spurling said.
"As you can see, the head is hanging over one side of the boat, while the tail is over the other side.
"It was a good size fish. It was tagged and released a bit shocked after being hauled out of the sea, but recovered after the guys released it, and off it went, apparently no worse, but perhaps a little wiser, for its ordeal."
The event ended on Sunday, with team Freedive on top as the new winners.
