THEY did it last year with Finance Pacific's help, and they hope to do it again this year.
Suva Football Association yesterday received a timely cash boost with Finance Pacific coming on board to back the Whites again for this year's Courts Homecentres IDC in Lautoka early next month.
Finance Pacific chairman Peter Knight said they were "honoured" and proud to be associated with the champions.
Knight confirmed a cash sponsorship for this season and continued backing for the next two seasons.
Suva FA president Mahend Prasad said for major championships like the IDC, having good financial backing was a must.
He said they were "overwhelmed" and "greatly thankful," to Finance Pacific for coming onboard again.
Last year the company poured in $10,000 and got a good return on their investment.
Knight said last year's achievement was "great".
"I think that was when Suva won after 28 years," he said.
Suva is pooled with Nadroga, Navua and Nadi for the IDC from October 9-13 at Churchill Park.
Lautoka, Ba, Rewa and Labasa are in the other pool.
