ONE of Fiji's multi-award winning holiday destinations has added yet another feather to its cap.
Outrigger on the Lagoon Fiji was awarded the Best Destination Spa Resort 2013 for its Bebe Spa Sanctuary at the annual Australasian Spa Association (ASPA) Spas of Excellence Awards.
The presentation was made at QT Hotel Surfers Paradise on Queensland's Gold Coast with the resort beating competition from Asia, Australia and the South Pacific to claim the top prize.
Spa manager Praveena Dewan and resort executive assistant manager Lindsey Palmer accepted the award on behalf of the team. Mrs Dewan said the win was incredibly satisfying and was judged based on service excellence.
"What sets Bebe Spa Sanctuary apart is not only its enviable location and ability to instill a sense of total peace and tranquility but our entire team who all share the same passion and dedication to ensure that a world class spa experience is offered to each and every guest," she said.
"The spa's concept is based on a traditional Fijian village which also transcends through to the spa menu which focuses on uniting ancient Fijian therapies and beauty rituals with world-renowned products.
"An adults only domain, the Bebe experience extends to luxurious outdoor balcony spa baths, early morning yoga on an expansive deck and Kalokalo Bar, a retreat where guests can indulge in champagne and canapés or morning and afternoon tea set against the Pacific's finest views."
