AFTER a lapse of two decades, Vatukoula will play Suva in the Farebrother-Sullivan Trophy challenge match this Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
The goldminers, who held the Capital City side five-all in 1993, will be hoping for a better result this weekend.
Fiji Bitter Suva has defended the prestigious trophy in the last two challenges and holds the upper hand having beaten Vatukoula in all the Farebrother matches.
The side overcame Lautoka 23-0 in the first challenge before downing top tier newcomers Namosi 33-17 last week Saturday.
However coach Salimone Ravouvou was not impressed with the wins.
"Our defence wasn't up to it, the way Namosi came back to score those tries wasn't good," he said after the game against Namosi.
"We can't afford that in cup challenge matches. Yes we won but overall I can't say that I am happy with the performance.
"We are taking one game at a time and we need to improve with every match."
Naitasiri will be the next challenger followed by Nadi, Tailevu and Nadroga.
Meanwhile, in the curtain-raiser match to the Suva-Vatukoula game at 3.30pm, USP will play Harlequins at 11am followed by Red Rock versus Golden Eagles Koroturaga Fulton Hogan Highway Challenge at 1pm.
Ticket prices for grandstand is $15, embankment $10, grass $5 and children under-12 $3 (grass).
