FNPF CEO Aisake Taito said although there were panic and smoke, nobody was harmed and none of the members records had been affected.
"We would like to assure all our members that all records are safe," Mr Taito said.
"We will not compromise on the safety of our customers and staff - and to this end, we have closed our office for today until the National Fire Authority completes its assessment," he said.
The NFA is expected to issue a statement later today.
