FREEDIVE continues their lead heading into the final day of the Pacific Harbour International Game Fishing Club at the Pearl Resort.
Freedive led 383.4 points after day one and added an impressive 90.6 yesterday to further extend their lead to 474.
Defending champion Lunesea scored 56.7 on day two and has 411.6 points heading into the final day today.
Tournament organiser Mark Spurling said Lunesea had one last attempt to defend their title.
"Right now Freedive has a comfortable lead but anything can happen tomorrow (today)," he said.
"Lunesea will be looking to have a good catch to make a comeback. But Freedive has set the platform and they will look to continue on their good form in the final day."
He said anglers caught good catches during the past two days.
"It was a good day of fishing with plenty of Wahoo coming in we are looking forward to more at our next weigh-in."
Weigh-in is expected to be scheduled at 4pm today at the Pearl Resort in Pacific Harbour.
