OLIVER Sinclair, 12, is excited to showcase his designs at next month's Fiji Fashion Week.
The young designer was born in Australia and moved to Fiji with his family when he was six years old.
Olivera has been designing clothes for the past four years but decided to take the bold step of showcasing his talent at last year's FJFW event.
"It's been really exciting. Last year I got my inspiration from the style of Disney princesses and incorporated that with the unique Fijian culture, but this year I am taking my inspiration from the materials that I will be using," he said.
He specifically designs children's clothing.
Last year, he featured female clothing, but is including male designs as well in next month's show.
"I have already finished my sketching and I am in the process of picking out my materials before I take them to the tailors for the final touch.
"This year I want to stick to the Fiji Fashion theme, which is Kids just want to have fun, so my designs will be vibrant, exciting and something comfortable the children can run around in."
He hopes to pursue designing in the future and is thankful to the tremendous support of his parents and two sisters.
"I couldn't have done it without my family. They have all pitched in either financially or with ideas, to my designing career and I am eternally grateful for their support to let me do this."
