SPREADING awareness about the great package deals they offer to their customers and helping them is the main reason a financial lending institution set up a booth at the Crest Agriculture Show in Lautoka which concludes today.
HFC general manager Marketing and Human Resources Rosie Fong said the support and turnout from the public had been amazing since the show started.
She said they had assisted farmers and members of the public who sought their help in attaining home finance loans.
"We offer the loans at good rates of five per cent to our customers and also encourage a lot of exporting with farmers," Ms Fong said.
She said most farmers who sought loans wanted to expand their businesses and export their produce.
"We fully support the exporting of goods overseas because that is more beneficial not only to farmers but the country as a whole.
"Hence, whichever farmer wants to acquire a loan from us, we have set ourselves up at the show since its inception to help them.
"Last year, we received a good feedback from the public and many people, not just farmers, came to us for assistance. Last year, we also launched the cane farm loans to target cane farmers and I am pleased to say we have acquired a number of good clients in the Western Division who are thoroughly committed to expand their businesses."
