THE victorious Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants Ba team players will not be part of the West team in the clash against South when the FIFA World Cup trophy will be on display at Churchill Park in Lautoka on September 21.
The 4R Electrical Men in Black will be leaving for a short tour to New Zealand on September 19.
Ba Football Association Rishi Kumar said it was unfortunate that their tour clashed with the arrival of soccer's Holy Grail.
Kumar said they would be taking an 18-member squad.
"Our trip is finalised," Kumar said.
"We will be travelling on September 19 and will play New Zealand A on September 20. The next game will be against Auckland City on September 25."
Interestingly the Fiji Football Association has opted to generate interest in the zonal clash by giving the general public a chance to pick the two teams.
The selections will be done based on the votes collected by the players through mobile texting which will also rake in revenue for the parent body.
Fiji FA vice president and national team director Tarunesh Reddy said players who were active club and district reps would only be considered.
Lautoka's Ravinesh Kumar will coach the West team while Rewa's Marika Rodu will mentor the Southerners.
