Update: 2:56PM THE Suva City Council, nightclub owners, the Fiji Police Force and internet shop operators met today to iron out some of the difficulties faced while doing business in the Capital City.
During a stakeholders' meeting in the council chambers, issues such as nightclub and internet shop opening and closing hours were discussed.
Chairing the meeting, Suva's special administrator Chandu Umaria said all internet shop owners should bear in mind that the closing hour for internet shops in the CBD was 9pm.
Mr Umaria says closing hour for nightclub is 5am - something the operators should strictly adhere to.
He also outlined that internet shop operators should ensure children are not given the opportunity to abuse the internet.
Mr Umaria also called on internet shop owners to develop software that would restrict children from gaining access to pornographic websites.
