THE Chand brothers, Nitesh and Nilesh, dominated the snooker tournament at the South Seas Club in Lautoka on Sunday.
Nitesh, a former Fiji number three, won the super premier grade of the South Seas Swimming Pool and Family Fun Park-sponsored event.
He defeated Fiji Six Reds champion Isireli Kaci 2-0 in the final.
In the semi-finals, Nitesh beat Vinesh Prasad 2-1 while Kaci downed Navneil Maharaj by the same score.
Kaci recorded the highest break of 70 during the semi-final. He cleared the pack with six red balls on the table as Prasad sat watching.
This is the first time a player has achieved a break of 70 in a tournament in the Sugar City.
Nitesh won the premier grade. He beat Natabua High School student Vikrant Sharma 2-1 in the final. In the semi-final Nitesh defeated Dharam Jeet Singh 2-0 while Sharma beat Surya Julie Narayan Singh 2-0.
