RATU Jo Tabakaucoro wants his son Banuve Tabakaucoro to dowell in what he does best — that is "running fast".
Banuve is part of Team Fiji which is in Wallis and Futuna for the 13th Pacific Mini Games.
Proud father Ratu Jo, who spent a "normal day" with his family on Father's Day yesterday, wished Team Fiji well at the PMG which starts today.
"For me, every Sunday is Father's Day. This is when I get to spend time with the family," he said.
"I haven't received a call from him (Banuve) yet because for us Methodist Church followers, Father's Day is next week (this Sunday)."
Banuve, who is the reigning Pacific 100 and 200 metres champion, is the top favourite for the events at the PMG.
He is also Team Fiji's flag bearer at the games.
Ratu Jo said Banuve was a hard worker and deserved good results in the Mini Games.
"I wish all the Team Fiji members well and thank the coaches for imparting the knowledge to these athletes."
