TWO Chinese police officers on a three-month attachment with Fiji police visited Labasa yesterday as part of their training.
The duo, accompanied by police spokesman Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri, were briefed by divisional police commander SSP Naulumatua Lutunacaucau on the progress of operations.
Insp Sokomuri said the visit was part of an agreement signed by China and Fiji two years ago.
"The two will visit all police stations here in the North before they move down to the West next week," he said.
"They have spent two months in Suva and last week, they were in Levuka. They are here to work with the various units and learn more about police work in the country."
