FREE medical, eye, dental and gynaecological check-ups were offered by about 50 doctors at a Sai medical camp organised at Korovuto College last week.
School manager Pravin Singh said it was very generous of the doctors from Fiji and abroad to serve the public.
"About 2000 people benefitted from the medical services that were provided, they came to the school from nearby communities to seek help," Mr Singh said.
"The people appreciated the services provided and such services have been beneficial to the poor, sick and needy of the community.
"The doctors and the Sai members of the Nadi branch need to be thanked for providing such services to the community as it is indeed service to humanity."
