Four out on strict bail condition

Update: 5:50PM FOUR men from Tavarau Island facing criminal charges have been granted by bail by the Nadi Magistrates Court.

Kitione Moqili, Solomone Vatoga, Navitalai Senito and Ilaisa Momo appeared before Magistrate Kashyapa Wickeramasekara this afternoon.

The four have been charged with one count of damaging property and one count of common nuisance.

The men allegedly cut the rope of the Cloud 9 Restaurant and Bar of Tavarau Island causing it to drift about 15 metres from the island.

The four men have been granted a $2000 bail each with strict condition.

They will reappear on October 31 for mention.
