THE Ba soccer side will make a short tour of New Zealand next month playing two matches.
The Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants champions will face a New Zealand Selection team and club champions Auckland City.
The side has also been offered matches against A League club Wellington Phoenix and Waitakere United.
The tour will be organised by New Zealand Fiji Football Incorporated.
Ba Football Association president Rishi Kumar said all expenses would be paid by the New Zealand body.
He said the players received $1100 in cash and kind for winning the BOG title.
"We promised our players before the BOG that there would be a tour to New Zealand," Kumar said.
"This was regardless of the result of the tournament. But it was icing on the cake when we won the title.
"We will be travelling on September 19 and are scheduled to play the New Zealand A team on September 20.
"The next game will be against Auckland City on September 25.
"We have other offers from Waitakere United and Wellington Phoenix. But those matches are yet to be confirmed.
"All the expense will be paid by New Zealand Fiji Football. The tour will be exposure for the players.
"We have been going overseas for the past seven years.
"The expenses have been paid by the people who have invited us. We don't have that much money here to organise tours of such nature.
"But our players are so fortunate that they are going abroad to broaden their talents.
"We have written to Fiji Football Association in regards to the tour because the National Football League will be underway. We will have to miss two games.
"But we have completed our league matches in the past despite competing in the Oceania Champions League. We are happy of all our achievements."
The Ba Football Association hosted the BOG thanksgiving party for the players and their family members on Saturday.
The Ba team also bagged the national league title this year.
