THE co-ordinators of the Hibiscus Festival are pleased with the outcome and the feedback.
Hibiscus Event Group Inc. chairman Hirdesh Prasad said there were a number of events which attracted publicity as well as support.
"We had the first ever children's day race which turned out to be a great success with about 300 kids taking part. We also had the charity show which raised a lot of funds," Mr Prasad said yesterday.
He said the theme Pacific Wellness — Treasure Life, Choose Health, stood out at this year's festival.
"The Ministry of Health and the Reserve Bank of Fiji were a big part of that, and as you saw in the variety of healthy foods at the festival, it was a theme which people understood and learned from.
"We also witnessed the largest volume of people on Saturday night. I think it was the largest crowd ever and we are pleased to say that we have bigger plans for next year as the park will be upgraded in the months to come," Mr Prasad revealed.
