ILISONI Lolaivalu scored a crucial goal for Dreketi in the National Football League Premier Division play-off at the USP grounds in Suva yesterday.
Lolaivalu scored in the 57th minute of play to keep the Northerners on track of winning this year's Fiji Sun/GP Batteries-sponsored Premier Division title.
Nasinu equalised through Jalindar Singh in the 78th minute after the Johan Leewai-coached Dreketi failed to keep the lead, letting the Southerners to bounce back to secure an important equaliser.
Fiji Football Association National League Board secretary Amitesh Pal said the second leg of the play-off would be played in the North.
"We haven't finalised the dates but will be releasing the date and the venue of the game soon."
Nasinu's Vimal Pal, while Dreketi's Peni Sokia and Melvin Kumar were cautioned during the match.
The Abdul Zaman-coached Nasinu last Sunday defeated Dreketi 1-0 to win the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants Premier Division title at Govind Park in Ba.
