STATE lawyer Roneil Prakash, who is prosecuting in the case of the State against Kamenieli Bola Koroitamana, requested for more time to file and serve information and disclosures.
The case against Mr Koroitamana was called before High Court judge Justice Salesi Temo yesterday.
Mr Prakash told the court that the case had just been transferred to the High Court from the Magistrate Court, which was why they were seeking more time to file and serve information and disclosures to Mr Koroitamana.
Mr Koroitamana's lawyer Filimoni Vosarogo did not object to Mr Prakash's submission.
Mr Koroitamana is alleged to have caused the death of a Solomon Islander who was studying at the Fiji National University on August 9, after an alleged brawl between the deceased and Mr Koroitamana, who was a nightclub attendant at the time.
The deceased Collin Maepara, 29, died after being admitted for two days in hospital.
