NADROGA Football Association president Vijay Singh and vice president Krishna Bhan were granted bail by the Nadi Magistrates Court yesterday.
Singh is charged with two counts of obtaining financial advantage and one count of obtaining financial advantage by deception.
Bhan is charged with two counts of obtaining financial advantage by deception.
They are alleged to have been involved in an incident where Nigerian nationals played for Nadroga in the 2013 Vodafone Fiji FACT and the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League without proper documentation and were also not paid in some instances.
Singh and Bhan were represented by Rupesh Singh and appeared before magistrate Ajmeer Khan.
No plea was taken. They were bailed on $1000 each with surety and were also ordered to surrender their travel documents.
Singh and Bhan will now appear for mention at the Sigatoka Magistrates Court on September 9.
