THE KBL Saru Dragons will miss the services of two key players in the Vodafone Cup grand final against the Sigatoka Electric Roosters at Churchill Park in Lautoka tomorrow.
Out of the Dragons team are vice-captain Vilive Tivaca and Sailosi Vakacegu.
Both players suffered knocks during the 40-10 semi-final win against the Hot Bread Kitchen Nabua Broncos last week.
The Dragons will be inspired by former Fiji Bati captain Seruvi Ralulu who returned from the Cook Islands last month after helping the Tupapa Maraerenga Panthers lift the national title.
The Panthers defeated Avatiu Eels 16-14 in the final to win their first silverware after four years.
Ilaitia Rogorogoivalu and Eroni Sau were the other Dragons players recruited by the Panthers.
Dragons captain Jone Yacadrau said the injury concerns were a drawback.
He said they had put the 2010 grand final misery behind them.
"We have worked on our mistakes from the semi-final last week," Yacadrau said.
"Our ball handing wasn't that good against the Broncos.
"We have also reviewed our defensive structure. That needs to be tightened during the grand final.
"There are some injury concerns after the semi-final. Two of our key players Vilive and Sailosi have been ruled out because of knee injuries. Both are second rowers.
"We have been training during the afternoons. The game-plan is set but we will not reveal that. We will do our talking on the field."
The Dragons have never won the Fiji National Rugby League national title.
