THE Fiji under-21 netball side has been playing warm-up matches in Glasgow to prepare for the World Youth Netball Championship which starts this weekend in Scotland.
The Unaisi Rokoura-coached side had a hit out session with the Scotland and Wales U21 sides this week.
The team will play England U21 in its final warm-up match today before taking on Namibia in its opening match tomorrow (Fiji time).
Shooter Afa Rusivakula, who also played in the 2011 World Netball Championship in Singapore, was satisfied with the outing of the team in the warm-up matches.
She said their preparation was going on well and the players were enjoying the experience in Glasgow.
Sister and national U21 defender, Ana Rusivakula, on her Facebook page, said it was cold in Glasgow but she was glad to experience weather different to the one experienced in Fiji.
The team also took opportunity to visit some landmark places in London and Glasgow and met families and friends.
Fiji is placed in Group A with Australia, South Africa, Israel and Namibia.
