THE second term school holiday is now in full swing and students and teachers have been advised to get organised for the last crucial term of the school calendar.
Fijian Teachers Association general secretary Maika Namudu said holidays was not for total relaxation and enjoyment but to prepare and organise their school work for the final term.
"There will be lots of activities happening and I urge parents to take full responsibility in making sure their children are in the right place at the right time," Mr Namudu said.
"They need to revise their notes, check if they missed out anything so that come the third term, they will be more focused and ready for their annuals," he added.
Director primary education Tomasi Rayawa said a lot of discipline was required from students during the school holidays.
"They need to discipline themselves at home and wherever they go," Mr Rayawa said.
He said at the same time, students should continue with their studies because they would soon face the most important term.
